The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Shaun Bean can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

JIM AND KAREN CALAWAY
My husband Jim and I met Shaun and Sandy Garranger Bean when they came to Utah to visit their daughter Carrie and my son Dallas. As missionaries for the Family History Library for the Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints, we were privileged to help Sandy, Shaun, and Carrie out with doing some Family History search on their ancestors. My son (Karen's) Dallas Hughston along with Sandy and Shaun all had lunch together at the Church Office building. I was so impressed with Shaun's amazing happy and loving spirit; Sandy's positive and joyful attitude towards life; and their love for each other. I know that God is looking over Sandy; and that Ministering Angels are surrounding her with Shawn as their inspiration and guide. I know God loves the Bean and Garranger families, and will bless them with peace, and will guide them through these days of sadness and sorrow. It is always sad to lose a loved one, but to know that our loved one was a good person filled with love of his fellow men is a comfort and a joy. It is also a comfort to know if one believes in a world after this one, that we will see Shawn again, and that eternal life is God's promise of a life lived with goodness and love. May all Shawn's family know that God is aware of their needs, sorrows, sadness, and that He is always there to hear their prayers. I pray that all will be well, that all will know that God loves them and that He is always there for them. With love, Jim and Karen Calaway
