Shaun Michael  Bean
Shaun Michael Bean, 52, Liberal, MO, passed away January 2, 2014. He was born March 29, 1961 to Sherrell and Patricia Cassatt Bean.

Shaun graduated from Lamar High School, lettering four years in football. He also ran track while at school, and was a Golden Gloves Boxing Champion. Shaun met the love of his life, Sandra Renee Garringer in a “trust exercise” during drama class at Lamar High School. They were married December 22, 1979. Shaun graduated from Missouri Southern, Joplin, MO. He then worked as an EMT with his degree, and fondly acquired the nick name “Cot Jockey” by his co-workers. Shaun also was a volunteer firefighter for the Liberal Fire Dept. as well as a volunteer on the Search and Rescue team for Barton and Vernon Counties. He loved farming and spending time with his beloved family.

Shaun was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Stephanie; a brother, Joe Bean; his father, Sherrell Bean; mother-in-law, Beverley Garringer; brother-in-law, Bill Kirby; nephew, Trevor Kirby; Aunt and Uncle, Terry and Peggy Cassatt.

Survivors are his wife, Sandy; daughter, Shauna and husband, Steven Hackler of Liberal, MO; son Joshua Bean of Sheldon, MO; daughters Carrie Bean of Snowbird, UT, Sarah and husband, Nathan Davis of Liberal, MO; grandchildren Stasha Hackler and Ashlynn Davis; brother, Ron Bean and his wife, Tracy; mother, Patricia Bean; father-in-law, Junior Garringer; many grand-dogs, one grand-cat, and a large extended family.
